Hello, I’m Demir, and the first system I started increasing my earnings with was affiliate marketing. That’s why I want to write detailed and carefully crafted articles on affiliate marketing here on the site, sharing every little detail with you. First of all, affiliate marketing is a system where you can go from zero to hero with no money. To get started, you need two things: traffic and an affiliate program to sign up for.
You can start affiliate marketing with any platform that can drive traffic. For example, you can start with an Instagram page, a Facebook group, a Pinterest page, or the most popular option—a website. At the end of this article, I’ll share one secret affiliate marketing tip that no one talks about, with proof!
When I started the site, I mentioned that I would be sharing content that’s mostly case study-focused with images. Instead of big companies’ AI-generated affiliate articles ranking high on Google, you’ll find real advice from someone who earns money through affiliate marketing and lives as a digital nomad.
How to Do Affiliate Marketing with a Facebook Group with no money?
Starting a Facebook group and sharing affiliate links costs nothing. In 2024, Facebook usage is still high, especially if your target market is the USA. Facebook is a goldmine. With your Facebook account, you can click this link to go to the Facebook group creation page.
One of the biggest groups doing affiliate marketing on Facebook is the “Discounts & Deals World” group. If I remember correctly, the founders are a few friends from Vietnam. Their group has grown so much that they’ve even created mobile apps on iOS & Android to promote through Facebook groups (ahh, free marketing—my favorite!).
Now, let’s get into an example of how you can do affiliate marketing with a Facebook group without spending money. It’s September 4th, 2024, and I’m checking the group. I found a post that was shared 6 hours ago.
Let’s examine the example. See how a Facebook group can generate hundreds of sales in a single day.
Affiliate Marketing w/Facebook Group Details
For your posts in a Facebook group to get engagement, they need to receive likes, comments, or shares. If one of your posts gets some engagement, Facebook shows it to more people. Now, here comes the bad news: let’s say you have a Facebook group with 5,000 members. Unfortunately, your post won’t reach all 5,000 members—not even close. Not 2,500. Maybe 1,000? Nope, forget it. Your posts will get shown to around 50-100 people within 3-4 hours. Even if no one likes or comments on your post, Facebook will continue to push it to more people as long as they click on the link.
A secret tactic from someone who’s been doing affiliate marketing for 4 years: If you have a group, you might need to share more than 50 Amazon coupon or Walmart clearance deals per day. This isn’t too much! Yes, you heard me right—50+ posts. If you post them every minute, Facebook will flag you as spam, and you might even have account issues. The way to avoid this is by scheduling posts every 10 minutes (I’ve been doing this for years). It’s hard to get likes and comments on so many posts, but people will click on your links.
I can hear you asking, “How will they click on them?” Of course, by sharing high-quality Walmart clearance items and real discounted products from Amazon, Macy’s, Adidas, etc. This will help your posts reach more people. Real discounts = clicks. Clicks = engagement. Engagement = more sales. And we all know what that means! More affiliate income.
Now, look at the image I shared earlier again. It has 51 likes and 144 comments. Did you know that this post reached over 30,000 people in the group? Just one post generated 30,000 engagements and over 4,000 clicks. That single post made hundreds of dollars.
Growing your Facebook group is a topic for another article. When I publish it, I’ll link it here. In this article, I’ll show you affiliate systems you can start without money. Every topic I mention here will be discussed in more detail in future articles. You can subscribe to the newsletter on the homepage to receive weekly updates and case studies.
How to Start Affiliate Marketing with Pinterest & No Money
Most of us have heard of Pinterest, and maybe we use it actively in our lives. It’s not Instagram or TikTok, but when it comes to home decor ideas, fashion, sunglasses, vacation ideas, and many other topics, we turn to Pinterest. Affiliate marketing with Pinterest is actually quite simple. The number of followers you have doesn’t matter much. If your pins’ designs and the 2-3 words in the title catch people’s attention at first glance, congrats! People will click on your pins.
What Does It Mean When People Click on Your Pins?
When you upload pins to Pinterest, it gives you an optional field to enter a website link. In this field, you can either link to an article on your site related to the pin or directly link to an affiliate product. The second option allows you to do affiliate marketing on Pinterest without owning any traffic or an audience.
Look at the pins in the image. Most of these are prepared to drive traffic to their blogs. And if you notice, the key elements are either harmonious, attractive pin colors or number-based pin titles like “12 Must-Haves,” “Top 20,” or “Best 10”—titles designed to grab attention.
Let’s examine a live example together. There’s a Pinterest account called “Effortless Living” that only shares product videos and images. As you can see, it has just 23 followers, but like I said earlier, follower count doesn’t matter on this platform. Yet, they get 6.1K monthly views, and the account looks new. I took this screenshot while writing this article. If you’re reading this article later, feel free to discuss the latest updates in the comments.
Back to the point. This page directs pin links straight to Amazon products. The owner doesn’t have a website or anything else. In future articles, I’ll explain how to open an Amazon Influencer account and how to link Pinterest to your Amazon Influencer page (hopefully, I’ll have written this article by the time you’re reading this). You can earn significant money from Amazon with a nice profile without spending a dime.
That’s all I have to say about doing affiliate marketing with Pinterest. Above, I talked about what should be in your pins, follower counts, and links. The key takeaway is that you need to be persistent and disciplined. After your first 30 or 50 pins, they’ll remain on Pinterest forever, continually bringing traffic. This will benefit you greatly in terms of passive income.
Instagram Affiliate Marketing with No Money
Oops. Instagram is quite tricky. It can be tough to get into the “explore” page, but once you do, the platform becomes much easier. However, Instagram is challenging for reaching a general audience. Especially if you want to do affiliate marketing, there are two ways to approach it. Yes, I can confidently say there are two good methods.
If you want to start affiliate marketing on Instagram without spending money, you’ll need to grow a niche Instagram account. For example, gardening, dogs, cats, travel, moms, etc.
Let’s look at the image above. This Instagram page shares content, tips, and cute gardening videos. Yes, it’s a bit far from a niche with over a million followers. But the point I want to highlight is that when you click the link in their bio, you’ll find they are promoting many affiliate products.
The great thing about Instagram is that if you share quality content, the platform rewards you quickly. As a result, your niche attracts new people, and in a short time, you can build a large audience. This way, you can start doing affiliate marketing on Instagram without spending money.

Affiliate Marketing with Website & Without Money
Is it possible to do affiliate marketing without money on a website? The answer to this question can vary. There are some free hosting and domain providers out there. However, if you’re going on a long journey, I wouldn’t recommend relying on these types of services for affiliate marketing. You can use platforms like WordPress and Google Blogger to get free hosting. The way to get a domain for a low price is through many hosting companies offering .com domains for under $1 to new customers. Namecheap is a good example of this.
Once you’ve done that, you can start writing about topics that interest you. In your articles, you can include affiliate links, recommending products or sharing the ones you use yourself. For an example of a successful project, look at “Salt in Our Hair”—one of the best travel sites I’ve seen. They produce highly informative content about many countries, support it with images, and give real recommendations. They share affiliate links on their site, secure sponsorships, and of course, run ads via platforms like AdSense.
If you believe you can create content in a field you’re confident in, affiliate marketing with a website is one of the best ways to go. The content on your website stays on Google forever. You’ll need to update it occasionally (we’ll discuss how to build money-generating sites in detail under the “Content Strategy” category). With the links on your website, you can earn money while you sleep, travel, or do anything else.
Affiliate marketing is a powerful tool for website owners looking to monetize their content effectively. With over 65% of publishers using affiliate links to engage customers, it has become a key revenue source for many. In fact, 31% of publishers report affiliate marketing as one of their top three income streams. By incorporating affiliate links, you can generate passive income while providing value to your audience through product recommendations. It’s a low-risk, performance-based model, where you only pay for successful referrals, making it a win-win for both businesses and content creators.
Amazon Influencer Storefront The Secret Way
Yes, I mentioned at the start of this article that I would share one hidden gem, and here we are. Most people adapt and use the methods I’ve mentioned above in their own ways. However, there’s one method no one wants to share with you because it’s an easy, straightforward way to make money directly through Amazon—but it requires consistency.
Amazon Influencer Storefront
Did you know you can do affiliate marketing through the Amazon Influencer Storefront? This system operates entirely within Amazon. You don’t need to attract visitors or generate traffic elsewhere. You simply create content, and Amazon’s internal customers bring you revenue. It might sound a bit confusing, but I’ll explain it in more detail.
First of all, I want to talk about the system. The content you publish in the influencer section can be the following: Image, video or idea list.
Amazon Influencer Videos
This part works like this: you create 1-2 minute videos of products you’ve either ordered from Amazon or already have, and upload those videos under the product on Amazon.com. When people watch your video while reviewing the product and then buy it, the commission goes directly to you.
Amazon Influencer Photos
This is my favorite part of passive income. Amazon provides a space for you to add products to images, which you can access through amazon.com/finds. Your content will appear there and reach Amazon’s internal users directly. People primarily use this feature through the mobile app. As you can see in the image, the advantage of using this space is that you can add products available on Amazon to an image and link those products in the space Amazon provides you. You can easily do this in the Amazon Influencer panel once you have an influencer account. Then, you wait for your content to get featured in Amazon Finds, setting up another affiliate marketing system without spending money.
A post I uploaded in 2023 received a lot of interaction, which I did not expect, and I earned thousands of dollars from 1 post. As you can see in the picture, some posts received 16 views, some 250 and some more than 54,000. Therefore, be careful to do your job diligently and regularly. You will start to receive the rewards of your efforts after weeks.
Amazon influencer Idea List
This part is quite simple for affiliate marketing with no money. You can add your favorite products under categories like home, garden, or tech and wait for them to get featured. Or you can share these lists with your audience. Many TikTok creators create such lists. The trick with these lists is that even if the user doesn’t buy anything from the list, you’ll still get a commission from their next purchase as long as they’ve clicked the link once. This way, creators direct people to their influencer accounts instead of third-party websites.
That wraps up the hidden gem about Amazon affiliate marketing. I’ve shared insights from my past experiences and covered a variety of topics with you. I know I’ve mentioned that some things will be explained in other articles, but that’s because there are so many fine details I want to share. For example, I could write more than 10 articles just on Pinterest or create many images/articles about how to succeed in the Amazon Influencer program. I’m sorry for the wait, but in the coming days, I’ll be back with detailed analysis and more content.
